The Happy Hikers 5/27, 2017

Good afternoon to our Readers!!

 How are you doing? The weather seems to be getting hotter and hotter each day. Rainy season is just around the corner. 

On Saturday, May 27th, the Happy Hikers set out on a new course within the Rokko Mountains. The weather was perfect- sunny and occasional cloud with highs of 23 degrees and a nice cool breeze. 10 people joined our hike today. Here are some pictures from our day. 

From Ichigahara, we hiked a little further to the North until we came across the path for Tengûdō.  I'm still not sure why it was given this name. If you know, please teach me next lesson!!

Some hydrangea were just starting to bloom. 

At the top of Mt. Maya, the guys had a little 'refreshment' break. 

Did I tell you that this was MY mountain?? 

On the way back, we stopped an enjoyed some green tea at the Kobe Kankō Chaen near Aotani. I highly recommend it if you're ever in the area. 

Mmm... Matcha lattè with sweet bean cakes.
