Who is Jesus??
イエス様はどんな人ですか？？？というシリーズの続きですが、
Back to my series...

Among other things, Jesus said:
"I am the true vine.
You (Jesus' followers) are the branches.
If a man remains in me
and I in him,
he will bear much fruit.
Apart from me
* you can do nothing."
John 15:5 (New Testament)

Thinking about the phrase "you can do nothing"...
Perhaps this means... you can do nothing that you can't do by yourself.
In other words, in those times when you need divine help/inspiration/wisdom/protection/guidance etc.
you need to be connected to Jesus.
When you have to do something beyond the limits of your natural ability...
you need to be connected to Jesus.
When things are difficult and you don't know what to do...
you need to be connected to Jesus.
For me... these situations happen all the time!

『わたしはぶどうの木で、
あなたがたは枝です。
だれでも
わたしにつながっており、
わたしも
その人と
つながっているなら、
その人は
多くの実を結びます。
わたし（イエス様）を離れたら
あなたがたは
何も一つすることは
できません。』

In order to "bear fruit" in our everyday life, it is important to stay connected to our heart's source of nutrition.
Without water plants die.
Without a power source, our energy dies.
For me, the ultimate power source, the thing my heart needs to stay alive and well... is Jesus.
Without Jesus, I have no hope.
Without His Word, the Bible, to guide me I will break under the pressure when things get too difficult. 
(just like a dead branch)
Jesus is "the true vine."
Jesus is my everything. 
イエス様はどういうことを語っているかというと。。。
水がないと植物は元気に育ちません。枯れてしまいます。
電池を使い切ってしまうと電子機器は動かなくなります。
私たち人間も同じように心の栄養がないと疲れてしまいます。元気がだんだんなくなります。
私、ザットリンダにとっての心の最高な栄養、毎日の心の電源はイエス様ですね。
イエス様がいないと生きていられないし、イエス様が聖書に語っている言葉がないと人生の道標もないから、大変な時に心が枯れた枝みたいに折れてしまいます。
イエス様は私のすべてです。
