This is my African violet plant. 
この花はセントポーリアです。（英語ではアフリカンバイオレットといいますが。。。）
It was a Mother's day gift some years back.
何年も前に
母の日の
贈り物でした。
It was pretty when I got it, but hasn't bloomed again in MANY years.
I almost gave up and threw it out.
貰った時は
綺麗に咲いていましたが、
その後は
ずーっと
咲いていません。
諦めて捨てようかと思っていました。
けれども。。。
I'm glad I didn't, however.
As the calendar turned to the new year, my plant suddenly began to bloom again!
It was a WONDERFUL surprise
and
it gave me new hope for the new year.
今年になってから突然また咲いていました。
見たら嬉しくなりました。
素晴らしいサプライズでした。
新しい年に新しい希望を感じました。
The following words give me hope, too. 
This is a kind of hope that doesn't come and go.
It's a very simple message.
聖書の御言葉ですが、いつも希望を与えてくれます。
誰でも
キリストを信じるなら、
その人の心は
全く
新しく
変えられる。
もうそれまでと同じ人生はなく、
全く
新しい人生が
始まったのである。
この新しい出発は
神がしてくださった。

If anyone (anyone means YOU TOO!)
is in Christ
they are a new creation.
The old has gone.
The new has come.
All this is from God!

＊KEYPOINT：The Japanese translation of sin has a meaning similar to "crime." When most people read it, they think "I'm not a criminal!! This is not me. This has nothing to do with me. " But actually, sin is the underlying condition or sickness of our heart. Sin is what causes us to do things we don't want to do. Sin makes us do things that are not completely good. It makes us miss the mark and come up short.
In Christ we are rescued from this.
In Christ we have a NEW start.

罰せられた。

私たちが
